ARCFISH team member, Ruth Higgins - EurOcean, was in Brussels recently for European Ocean Days 2025. This week-long, ocean-centric event is like no other, covering themes from the EU Mission Restore Our Ocean and Waters to ocean governance, conservation, research, innovation, Blue Economy, and more. This year marked the 3rd edition of the meeting, which seems to be going from strength to strength.
The Ocean Days 2025 also included the 8th edition of the Blue Invest Conference. Blue Invest is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors, to create partnerships and collaborations that support all kinds of progress in ocean innovation and leadership.
During the week, Innovation Norway and JPI Oceans played host to an intimate meeting with partners from projects funded through the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership. ARCFISH was present at the meeting, together with Natalia Mæhle from the Aquabalance project. It was very beneficial to receive expert advice on how to bring Blue Economy solutions to market.
